Andrew Blackburn, who many residents will know from his 14 years selling beds and appliances at Bargain Buys in Neville Parade, has started his own company, along with his partner Marie. Cloud Nine Beds officially opened its showroom at Sydney House, Aycliffe Business Park (next to Greggs), on Saturday 18th February 2025.
Selling beds, mattresses and headboards, Andrew promises to offer customers a good quality, reliable service. Beds can be custom made in various colours, sizes and prices to suit everyone.
Andrew said “I am so grateful for the support and encouragement shown already, our first order for 14 beds. We are hoping local people and businesses, such as care homes and the hospitality industry, will consider us. We have plans to expand in the near future to offer appliances as well as carpets.
Cloud Nine Beds are open six days a week, including Saturday mornings. Appointments can be made for anyone needing to visit the showroom on an evening or Sunday.
