Thanks to the generosity of Newton News readers the Helping Hands team have been busy picking up good quality clothing throughout the town this week. We have been delighted at the response, which has enabled us to distribute them free of charge to people in our community who are facing financial difficulties at this time.
One woman who was near suicidal commented “I don’t know what I would have done without your help”.
The simple fact of this is everyone seems to be amazed by the kindness of the Newton News readers!
Due to the prompt distribution we have now run low on stock again, so if you would like to donate your new/nearly new children’s and adults clothing then the Helping Hands team are ready to take your call on 07936 431262. We will gladly arrange collection at a time to suit you. Alternatively you can e-mail lifeline.action@googlemail.com with your details and we will get straight back to you.
If you are reading this and need our help with clothes or household items then please ring 07936 431262 (ring back service available).
