Cliffecon is back – After a first successful event in 2024 Cliffecon is returning on Saturday 10th May. We will have some special guests from film, TV and media including US star Paige Turco (April O’Neil from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Abby Griffin from The 100) and Georgia Hirst (Torvi from Vikings.) CBBC’s Hacker T Dog will also be there to entertain and meet the visitors alongside other guests from Doctor Who, Star Wars, Game of Thrones, The Young Ones, Rainbow and Tomb Raider. Fans will be able to come and meet them and purchase autographs, selfies and other merchandise for memories that will last a lifetime.
We will also have an array of local and national comic artists, writers, mural artists, sculptors and film makers.
Visitors can also browse trader stalls with a wide range of items including POP vinyls, action figures, handmade goods, comic books, geeky jewellery and much, much more!
There will also be photo opportunities including Art the Clown, The Tardis from Doctor Who, The Iron Throne, Ghostbusters and the Daleks. Bouncy Castles, Face Painting, Balloon Modelling and other family oriented activities. Why not try your hand at axe throwing with the amazing Axe House?
Cosplay will be front stage and centre and there will be amazing cosplay guests and cosplayers, so why not grab some selfies with them? We encourage everyone to don a costume and come along.
Car parking is free at the event venue and it’s only a few minutes walk from Newton Aycliffe railway station.
