Local people in Newton Aycliffe are invited to meet staff for a Christmas get-together at a popular second hand furniture shop. The More Time Furniture shop, next to the Newton Press offices near the Blue Bridge, is offering free tea or coffee and mince pies to customers next Tuesday, 15th December.
The shop, which is already holding a Christmas Sale, will reduce items a further 20% for the day. Christmas wreaths will also be on sale.
Matt Roberts, furniture coordinator at the social enterprise shop, said: “We just want to say thank you to all our local customers this Christmas. More Time Furniture has had a wonderful year in Newton Aycliffe and we’re hoping that 2016 will be just as good, if not better!”
The free drink and mince pies are available between 11am and 1pm next Tuesday. The shop, which is open Monday to Friday, from 9am to 4pm and on Saturdays, 10am to 1pm.
More Time is a project developed and delivered by Newton Aycliffe-based community charity DISC. All profits from the furniture scheme are ploughed back into supporting training and educational services across the organisation.
