Thousands of Christmas services and events will be taking place in churches all over the country this December as people join together to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, who is God with us. There are about 16,000 Church of England churches and those nearest you in Newton Aycliffe are: St Clare’s in the Town Centre, St Elizabeth’s in Woodham Village and St Andrew’s in Aycliffe Village. We hope a record number of people join us over Christmas.
Please join us on our Christmas Journey of carols, readings and prayers, which remind us that God is with us in every situation and every part of our lives. He understands our many difficulties, hears our cries, heals our wounds and strengthens us for our Journey.
