Aycliffe town centre management and Aycliffe Radio CIC would like to thank all the entertainers who came along on Saturday 30th November to wow the crowds of onlookers for the Christmas Lights Switch On event.
Special thanks go to Greenfield College Choir, Shine Children’s Choir, Macadam School of Dance and St. Francis School Choir – all the children performed admirably along with ‘The Christmas Trees’, ‘Calvos’, Aycliffe & Brancepeth Brass Band and the amazing ‘Spark’.
Thanks also to the Mayor and Mayoress of Great Aycliffe, John and Bernadette Clark, accompanied by Amber. A mention also to Durham County Council for part funding the afternoon.
Great Aycliffe Rotary brought along Santa who worked tirelessly to give out a free gift to all the children who visited the All Disabilities Matter winter wonderland.
