The Rotary Club Community Christmas Concert will this year be held on Tuesday 16th December to help more local schools take part.
Holding the concert during the school day from 2pm – 3.30pm will allow schools to send their choirs, dancers and instrumentalists to entertain the audience and then leave for home at the usual time.
This will provide a rich variety of Xmas entertainment and it is hoped the townspeople, not at work, and relatives of the performers will come to the Leisure Centre and support our young people.
Admission is free and the audience will join in singing favourite carols and Christmas songs.
A special invitation is sent to the Care Homes in the area to bring along those residents able to travel to enjoy the afternoon in the company of the younger generation.
