They say it’s the most wonderful time of the year and here at St. Franics’ we want to make the run up to Christmas exciting and special for all the children. We get together as a school to remember what Christmas all is about. We learn about the Nativity story and how Jesus came into the world. We shared this story this year by performing to family and friends our ‘Stargazing’ performance, which followed the Wise Men as they followed the Star to where Jesus lay in the manger.
We took part in Christmas Jumper day, we felt very festive that day and enjoyed Christmas Dinner together as a school family on that day. The tables were decorated with Christmas tablecloths, decorations and crackers. Christmas songs played in the background as the children and staff got the chance to laugh and talk over our very delicious dinner.
The children and staff also had a blast at our Christmas Parties! We played games and danced until our feet were sore. We even had a very special guest visit us, Santa! The children were very excited to see our guest and talk to him before the big day!
