Greenfield Yr 7 girls represented Sedgefield in the County Durham Sportshall athletics event at the Louisa Centre Stanley.
The team included Christina Shodunke, Lucy Baird, Danielle Ord, Melissa Foster, Alanta Goyns, Rebekah Graham, Katie Oliver, Lucy McCormick and Jessica Catleugh. All girls performed extremely well, gaining a number of individual 1st, 2nd and 3rd place positions in both track and field events against some of the best in the County.
The team finished in Bronze medal position overall and were delighted with their achievements. Individually Christina gave a number of outstanding performances, finishing 1st in her three individual events.
Christina has been selected to represent Sedgefield in County Durham’s individual trials in February.
