This year’s Christian Aid Appeal focuses on Sierra Leone which is the world’s most dangerous place to become a mum. No mum should die in childbirth and Christian Aid believe that every mum and baby’s life is worth fighting for. That’s why our local volunteers are just a few of the thousands raising money during Christian Aid Week for the world’s poorest people.
How can you help?
Tesco have kindly allowed us to take a Bucket Collection in Tesco on Saturday 1st June. Volunteers from our churches in the town will be there so any donation, no matter how small, will be much appreciated. There will also be envelopes available for donations and tax payers can Gift Aid their donation adding 25% to their gift.
Christian Aid carry out vital work with poor communities across the world to bring lasting change for the most vulnerable people, regardless of faith, gender or race and this is our opportunity to help those people who are less fortunate than ourselves.
On behalf of Christian Aid and CTGA, I would like to thank you in advance for your support.
