On Thursday 17th June, the year 10 Hospitality & Catering students at Woodham Academy had a virtual visit from the FUN: Healthy Chinese Cuisine Ambassadors. The morning consisted of an online talk on Chinese food and culture. Following the presentation, students then ventured into the brand-new food room where they had a fun practical session making Hoisin Chicken. The sauces and marinades were generously supplied by Lee Kum Kee sauces; students were also provided with a cooking sauce to take home. The Hoisin Chicken recipe was a hit with students, who thoroughly enjoyed the morning and commented on how much they liked the dish and how they would make it again at home.
