Over the summer holidays Newton Aycliffe library will be holding 12 FREE craft sessions for children from the ages of 6 to 11.  All the craft sessions are based on the theme of the Mythical Maze, which is the title for our popular Summer Reading Challenge which begins Saturday 12th July.
Just call in to start your journey on our Mythical Maze.  Take our books, collect stickers etc and take a look at the web page which is full of reviews, chat rooms to discuss books and computer games.
As a taster of what’s to come here are the first  two craft sessions:- Pop Up Dragon Tuesday, 22nd July 2.15–3.15pm. Peg Mermaid Thursday, 24th July 2.15 – 3.15 pm.

For the younger children local author Kay Wilson will  hold story sessions over the holidays every Friday from 10.30am beginning Friday 25th July.  These sessions do not need to be booked and are also free.
