The annual St Teresa’s Hospice Midnight Walk is almost here, and excitement it brewing!
Hundreds of local women are expected to take part in the women-only event on Friday 20th June at South Park, Darlington, which every year attracts people looking to have fun and raise money for a good cause.
Following a surprise warm-up, walkers will walk the 1.5 mile route through the park for what is sure to be a fun-filled evening in aid of the local charity.
The Hospice will also be holding a ‘Donation Station’ at the event. Anyone attending is welcome to bring along items they would like to donate to the charity.
Groups that have signed-up include teams from Asda, Heritage Healthcare, Clive Owen LLP and Matalan.
Registration forms are available from St Teresa’s Hospice and its charity shops, as well as from the Hospice’s website at www.darlingtonhospice.org.uk, or by calling Supporter Services on 01325 254321. Registration costs £10, which ensures that any sponsorship raised goes directly to the charity. Anyone wanting to take part is encouraged to return their registration form to St Teresa’s Hospice as soon as possible.
