A charity event was held last Friday night at the Big club in aid of Newton Aycliffe girls Millie Robson and Laura Anderson after they were injured in the Manchester attack. The night was amazing and a huge success, with over £2000 raised. Laura said: “All our thanks go to Julie Palmer and Collette Middleton for giving up so much of their time putting together the whole event, as well as “Groovy Street” who performed brilliantly, and Howard Spoors for the Disco, all which was done free of charge”. Our families and friends who attended had a great time and we thank everyone who came and donated in any way possible, the support we are continually given is appreciated immensely by both families. It just goes to prove that there are so many more good people in this world than bad.”
