The chaplains at County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust invite parents living with a pregnancy loss or the death of a baby the opportunity to gather to remember their child at a forthcoming service.
The Service will be held on Wednesday 7 March 2018, at St. Cuthbert’s Church, North Road, Durham, starting at 7.00pm. Kevin Tromans, lead chaplain at County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust, said, “These services of remembrance and thanksgiving are for anyone who has been affected by this very sad experience, including wider families and regardless of whether the loss was recent or in the more distant past.
During the service the names of the babies to be remembered will be read, and there will be opportunity for families to light candles in memory of their babies. We hold services regularly and anyone wanting to find out more is invited to telephone the Durham Chaplaincy office on 0191 333 2183.”
