Bewick Crescent Surgery is being expanded and modernised to improve efficiency and offer a more comfortable experience for patients.
A new second floor is being built to make more space to improve the waiting room area, and provide two extra consulting rooms with upgrades for patient toilets and other facilities.
There is also a new repeat prescription telephone ordering service for both Bewick and Heighington patients operating from Mon-Thurs between 2.30-3.30pm.
This line will only be connected at these times and will only deal with repeat prescriptions. The number is 01325 318697
More appointments will also be available with the introduction of an extra G.P.
The building programme will be completed in April 2013 and the Doctors and staff apologise for any noise or inconvenience during construction.
