As you know, I set myself a challenge of running 100k during lockdown to try and hopefully raise £1000 which would be split equally between, two great causes which are The Royal British Legion and Newton Aycliffe FC Junior Section.
I am pleased to confirm that I actually slightly exceeded my target by running 102.75km by Friday 27th November, which was four days earlier than the target date, but more importantly, the sponsorship fund has also exceeded the stretching £1k target set and currently stands at £1030!
It’s certainly fair to say that I am genuinely overwhelmed by all the support and kind donations from everyone, especially under the current difficult circumstances we are all having to deal with at the moment due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
So, I would again like to thank everyone who sponsored me, I genuinely appreciate it.
Finally, I am keeping the fundraising page open until Tuesday 12th December when the final total will be signed off and the funds distributed accordingly.
