Earlier this week, local councillor, John D. Clare, Durham County Council’s Climate Change Champion, attended the Association for Public Service Excellence (APSE) ‘Big Energy Summit’ in Warwick. DCC Climate Change Officers delivered a workshop on ‘Communicating the message’, and Cllr. Clare chaired the Wednesday morning session of the conference on Infrastructure.
Cllr. Clare commented: “It was a very useful conference. DCC was able to show off its successes, and we heard what other councils are doing about Climate Change. We came home with lots of good ideas … and lots of jobs to do!”
