On Monday 9th February, County Councillor Kate Hopper visited the JAFFA After School Club at Burnhill Way Methodist Church. The children were learning about the Chinese New Year and were sampling an assortment of authentic Chinese food including a ‘Fortune Cookie’ and some freshly cooked Stir Fry. The children also tried to use chopsticks to eat the Stir Fry and Councillor Hopper gave some useful tips on how to use them. The children enjoyed the experience but not all the different types of food.
