With Covid restrictions due to be lifted from 21st June, Aycliffe Radio, along with partners ROF59 and Aycliffe Town Centre, bring you a summer of music festivals and concerts.
On Saturday 26th June a chance to catch up on the Christmas we all missed in 2020, with a cheesy pop Christmas party featuring live entertainment from ‘3 Steps 2 Venga’, a Steps and Venga Boys tribute band. This first, non Drive-In event, will be hosted by Professor Nincompoop and will be a family fun evening.
Gates open at 6.00pm with festivities from 7.00pm to 10.00pm, FREE party hats, party poppers and glow sticks along with a selection box for all the children . . . and a visit from Santa Claus!
Tickets are priced at £5.00 per person and are available from Newton Press reception or www.ayclifferadio.co.uk/tickets
ROF59 will be providing a licensed bar and refreshments and the organisers are hoping that the Covid restrictions are lifted by this date to enable our audience members to attend without having to be limited to an assigned area, bring your deck chairs and blankets, relax and enjoy the show. If restrictions are extended beyond this date, you can still enjoy the show, albeit in your own ‘pod’ area.
Other events planned for later in the summer include a Classix event with ‘Phil Mackintosh’ and guest DJs Neil Foreel, Valhalla DJs, Lee Harker, Mozzan8 St4te, Ian Murphy, Paul Tracey, Tally and Keil Young on Saturday 21st August with eight hours of non stop classic house and trance music from 2.00pm to 10.00pm. Tickets are priced at £7.50 per person and are available from www.ayclifferadio.co.uk/tickets
‘Andy Whitby’ plus guest DJs Jon Fazak, John Banks, Nathan Abbott and Audacity will be performing on Saturday 18th September from 4.00pm to 10.00pm – early bird tickets available on the Aycliffe Radio website for £15.00 per person.
