Can’t express enough to my friends, neighbours, facebook friends and Newton Aycliffe Neighbourhood Beat Team, my thanks for the recovery of a Jack and Jill seat which was stolen from the front of my house at 4am on Sunday 19th June.
The thief was caught on CCTV, subsequently the film was posted on facebook and identified by several people including the Police.CCTV can be purchased relatively inexpensively and can play a huge part in not only protecting your property but also in making your neighbourhood safer and supporting our police in their enquiries.
Facebook has a bad name for some of the negative stuff which appears there, but it is a fantastic medium when looking for stolen goods.
Special thanks to our Police Neighbourhood Beat Team for recovering the stolen goods. Thanks to Mike, Steve, Gavin and Danielle, my unofficial open air Councillors Surgery using my Jack and Jill seat at the front of my house is now reopened.
