Dear Sir,
I have lived in Hareson Road, Woodham Lea for 21 years and I have experienced problems with cats on and off.
I have read letters in the Newton News from residents complaining about dog fouling, yet cats can be just as bad, if not worse.
There is currently a cat in this area which has been fouling my front garden for most of this year, most nights, but the mess I discover is a diarrhoea mess and the problem is getting worse. When i attempt to clean it up, I have to get a bucket of water to try and wash it away as it is very difficult to pick up.
At 79 years old, do I really want to be picking this up every day and to have to wash my lawn to clear away the traces of diarrhoea?
I am not sure if the cat is ill and needs a vet or it is the food which it is being fed.
I used to use a cat deterrent, but it was working out too expensive to run, so I have changed to a solar powered version, like most of my neighbours.
Thank you
Marjorie Milling
