We are casting for a new show format that I think that your readers might be interested in. I’m looking for both British and American families/ friends/ co-workers who might like to take part in a social experiment-style programme. The series is exploring lifestyles on both sides of the Atlantic; where Americans travel to the UK, and Brits travel to the USA. We will be exploring what life is like on both sides of the wealth divide- and families on both ends of the spectrum will trade lives for 1 week (7 days). As part of the series, we will be filming locally in each family’s/ couple’s/ friends’ homes, workplaces and local communities, all the time following their weekly spending habits and extra-curricular activities, to learn if the grass really is greener on the other side. Does having money and material goods really mean you have it all? The ultimate aim is that both sides will take something valuable away from the experience of having lived each other’s lives for a week.

There is a casting selection process, so we are asking anyone who is interested in taking part to contact us directly via our website: www.emporiumcasting.com/house, or by emailing us at RHPH@emporiumproductions.co.uk . There is no commitment at this early stage, and applying for the show in no way commits anyone to the production. We take our duty of care to our contributors very seriously, and there will be many conversations with the team here before any families are asked to commit. Please do state in the application how you heard about the show & that Josh (myself) made initial contact – this is for processing purposes on our end.

Filming is from mid-March, and will continue until mid-May (but as aforementioned, we will only be filming with each group for one week during this time), and we are fairly flexible on dates. The show will first be premiered on Channel 5 in the UK and Netflix, before going out internationally.
