Residents at Rose Lodge care home, Carers Way, have been celebrating the long awaited news of the new royal arrival, baby Charlotte Elizabeth Diana Windsor.
To honour the birth of the new Princess, residents wrote messages of best wishes and luck to HRH The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in a card and posted it to the happy couple along with a photo of residents and staff so they could see the faces of their well-wishers.
Care Manager Nicola Wheatley said: “We have all been eagerly awaiting the news of the royal baby and we thought that it would be lovely to send our regards and blessings to baby Charlotte and William and Kate.”
“Residents also baked and iced pink cakes, decorating our home and coffee shop with pink balloons for the regular Coffee Morning all in tribute to the new arrival.”
