Aycliffe Care Home had a fantastic day out at Chester-le-Street Riverside raising money for charity. Peter Barron, a resident in the home, joined staff and family members on the walk.
Claire Gauden – senior carer said, “I did this walk to help raise awareness and for those who don’t have family.”
Deputy manager, Christine White said “It was lovely to see so many people of all ages joining in. I did this walk in memory of people I had the privilege of getting to know and care for along with their families and loved ones. I dedicated this walk to each and every one and can’t wait for us all to do it again next year.” We raised over £600.
