Newton Aycliffe Dementia Support Group, “New Pathways Together” are offering a weekend or 7 day breaks for a second season at Holiday Home Caravans at Whitburn near to South Shields/Seaburn/Sunderland. This is a place where people suffering from Dementia or life threatening /long term illness can go with their loved ones /carers for a few days.
The site is quiet, peaceful with toilets and shower blocks, but due to location a a car is needed.
The Caravan has two bedrooms Lounge, dining room, kitchen, bathroom and shower/bath with patio etc. The people that have used the caravan last season enjoyed the tranquility of the site.
