On Sunday 27th August 10am to 3pm The Northern Bygones Society will be holding their annual Vintage Car Rally at the Scouts Centre, Bluebell Way, Newton Aycliffe. There will be cars, commercials, bikes, also models, pocket watches, over 500 commercial models on display, vintage tractor, vintage agricultural machinery, 1920’s wheelchair, and vintage caravans. The bar will be open from 7pm Friday night for the arrival of the vintage caravanners plus the odd vintage car drivers.
There is free entertainment on Saturday night from 7.30pm onwards, also a sing-a-long to 1940’s to 1980’s music if anyone would like to join in. (ie: karaoke). Food & drink will be available to purchase from 10am onwards. The bar will be open to the public from 12noon Sunday lunchtime to coincide with the car show.
