Calling all our wonderful poppy knitters, many of you have already dropped off your contributions for our town display commemorating the end of WW1. We need to have all poppies in by Wednesday 31st October, these may be left at St. Mary’s on 24th or 31st or at Crafters Companion.
It will be all systems go on Sunday 4th November when, from 2.00pm, we will be tying them on to the railings at St. Clare’s we would welcome as many knitters as possible to come and assist, make it a family event it would be lovely to see some of the younger members of your families and give them an opportunity to mark this very important event and the ultimate sacrifice made by so many.
