Greenfield Arts are hosting their annual ‘Open Arts Exhibition’, however this year is a special one as they are celebrating their 20th birthday. The exhibition will run from Thursday 27th February – Wednesday 29th April 2020 in the Greenfield Gallery. The exhibition allows for artists in painting, photography, poetry, embroidery and many more art forms, to showcase their wonderful work to the community. ‘Connecting Communities’ is the concept for this year’s exhibition, with the focus on bringing together and connecting communities in a creative space. This is inspired by the new spring season of activities now available to book. Artists are being asked to respond to the idea of ‘Connecting Communities’ and can submit up to three pieces of artwork that will be showcased and celebrated in the gallery space. You can register your submission online via our website our contact our friendly team for further information on 01325 379048 or email info@ greenfield-arts.co.uk Deadlines for entries will be Friday 17th January 2020. This exhibition plays an important role in our new programme, which boasts a wide range of arts and creative opportunities, including ‘Stories from the Hive’ an exhibition by Julie Cockburn, with related activities in rag rug making and 3D ink drawing; free holiday activities and a range of ways to connect to your creativity.
