Cadets and staff swam the equivalent of the English Channel at Woodham Academy pool; that’s 1658 lengths between them! Well done to all the swimmers, whether you swam 10 lengths or 200. The event was a sponsored swim and all the money raised will go towards buying teaching resources and IT equipment for the fun and exciting activities the squadron offers. The squadron would like to say a special ‘Thank you’ to Mrs Hastie for giving up her Sunday to be our lifeguard.
If any young people aged 13 – 17 are interested in joining Air Cadets then come along to a parade night on Monday or Thursday evenings 7 – 9.30pm. at Barnard Armoury, Greenwell Rd.
