You do not have to go to Malta to have a ride on an old vintage bus, just come along to Locomotion Shildon on Sunday when the Aycliffe and District Bus Preservation Society hold their annual Bus Rally.
This year the Society will be running free off site services on selected routes using period buses. Do you remember The Newtonian on the town? It will be running on the Sunday. Also the proprietor of the The Eden Bus Company, Graeme Scarlett, will be using two of his preserved buses on old local routes in the area. So come along and join in a day of nostalgia, 10-30am to 4-00pm on Sunday
