Congratulations to Jake Mendelsohn, age 11, from Byerley Park Primary School who competed in the District Cross Country Finals last week and won a bronze medal.
This was a fantastic achievement against a very strong field of runners. Jake, who runs for Sedgefield Harriers, had qualified for this final by winning a gold medal at the Sedgefield Schools Partnership cross country event in a field of over 100 runners.
Well done Jake.
