In an effort to ameliorate the loss of the mobile library in Heighington following Council cuts, the Village Hall Association with the kind assistance of Mrs Dilys Moss opened Books@Heighington on the 30th March 2.00pm to 4.30pm in what was the Post Office in the Village Hall.  Books donated by the villagers will be available to borrow and return at a cost of 10p each. The books are suitable for all ages and tastes. Books@Heighington will be open every second and last Thursday of the month 2.00pm to 4.30pm
