With over 30 years’ experience in the world of finance in both banking and accounting, Louise Morton has set up her own bookkeeping business. Based in School Aycliffe Louise is local to the area with clients in Aycliffe, Darlington and Teesside.
Having worked for Barclays Bank for over 20 years, she has a sound knowledge of banking systems and finance. With a massive focus on customer service, she prides herself in her friendly, helpful and down to earth approach.
She worked for accounting companies in Darlington and recently decided to become self-employed. Louise is a great believer in helping clients with their paperwork, and tries to keep it as simple as possible.
“I help them set up a system they understand, and works well for their business. Every business is different, but I enjoy the variety. I have a wide selection of clients from mobile beauty therapists and hairdressers to plumbers and joiners. From network marketing and party planners to driving instructors and cleaners” said Louise.
She specialises in small businesses and sole traders or partnerships, and helps clients with the completion of their self-assessment Tax Returns.
Many people who are employed also run small businesses alongside their main income, such as marking exam papers, beauty treatments or baking celebration cakes.
Whilst this can be a hobby, it should also be declared to HMRC. If you would like any help or advice, please feel free to give her a call. She will be more than happy to help. Tel: 07980 468615
