National Bike Tyres, based in Leaside on Aycliffe Business Park have welcomed the region’s Blood Bike service to their list of clients.
As Co. Durham’s only Michelin approved motorcycle tyre fitting centre, National Bike Tyres are part of the French tyre giants’ initiative to help the Nationwide Association of Blood Bikes with their tyre costs.
The Northumbria region’s ten Blood Bikes, cover hospitals and blood banks from Berwick to Darlington, all NHS Acute Trusts in the North East, and daily blood supply to the Great North Air Ambulance, 365 days a year.
