One year on from Bill Cooksey’s epic Great North Run, at the grand old age of 102, Five Acres wanted to remember our great patron and decided to undertake a challenge and walk 26.2 miles around the rear grounds of ROF59 – Bill was signed up for the London Marathon 2024, partnered by Emon Chowdhury, but sadly Bill didn’t make it.
Five Acres are determined to complete the course in stages, and weather dependant, to honour and remember this remarkable man.
