Following a recent plea for help through Newton News for rehearsal room space, Aycliffe and Brancepeth Band were approached by numerous organisations in or around Newton Aycliffe and would like to thank them all for their kind offers of help.
The band are now rehearsing at The Big Club on Wednesday evening (7.30-9.30) and on Sunday evening (6.00-8.00).
The band would like to thank the committee and staff at the Big Club for welcoming them and being so accommodating and helpful to them in their ‘hour of need’.
In spite of the short term difficulties the band have continued to perform and honour their commitments, last week playing at the Yarm show and on Sunday marching and playing at the bandstand at Beamish museum.
Future engagements include; Middridge show next Saturday 7th July at 1 – 3.30 pm and Durham Miners Gala Saturday 14th July.
