On the 27th August we are holding a mini beer festival to raise money for Help For Heroes.  We picked this charity because at the hotel there are many staff that have family serving or have been in the armed forces, so it is close to many of our hearts.
We have two local breweries Steam Machine and the Surtees Arms who will be coming with their beers for everyone to enjoy.  Hot food will be cooked fresh by our chef and served during the day.
While you’re enjoying the family atmosphere you will be able to enjoy fantastic local bands who will play throughout the day.
We are very lucky to have Aycliffe & District Bus Preservation Society coming along with four of their buses.  They will be providing rides for everyone to enjoy.
This is a charity event and all money from ticket sales will go to the Help For Heroes charity. We will be also be holding a tombola.  If anyone has any prizes they would like to donate please drop them off to the hotel reception.
While everyone is having fun at the hotel our Maintenance man Keith Robson will be riding his bike to Caterick Garrison and back, he is also collecting sponsorship and donations along the way.
Tickets will be going on sale on the 21st August at the cost of £2 per person they can be purchased from hotel reception.
