Beamish Hall’s Garden Centre welcomes record breaking horticulturist John Soulsby to the team.
Beamish Hall Hotel has reinvented their Garden Centre with the help of John Soulsby, opening on the 6th of April at 9am. The Garden Centre offers an exciting experience for inspiring gardeners and children alike with a fairy themed garden shop allowing children to start their own Magical Garden of their own.
John Soulsby, expert horticulturist and record breaking grower joins the team alongside propagating expert, Graham Pringle to lead the nursery in a new direction providing customers a sound experience across the country house estate.
Winner of the BBC’s Great Village Show John said “Due to the ever-evolving nature of the horticulture industry, it’s great to come back to Beamish Hall – not as a supplier but to work alongside the team to create a unique destination for everyone to enjoy.
Ultimately, our customers will benefit from high quality products at very competitive prices, allowing us to expand our Garden Centre and improve the full experience.”
Through offering classes and interactive workshops, the Garden Centre intends to inspire a new set of budding gardeners.
In addition to the Alice in Wonderland themed woodland walk, the Stables Restaurant and Beamish Wild Adventure Park – the Garden Centre will complete the Hall’s bid in creating the perfect family day out for all generations.
David Craggs, Chairman at Beamish Hall said, “We look forward to bringing John and Graham in on a more hands-on basis to help host our very own classes, flower shows to propagate bespoke vegetables and plants.”
Both the woodland walk and Garden Centre are open daily from 9am-4pm from the 6th of April.
