Barclays Bank in Newton Aycliffe Town Centre are offering code playground session for families. The first session was held last week and staff are looking to hold more in the future.
Code Playground is a fun way to learn the basics of coding and develop digital skills for the future. The 2 hour coding sessions are open to children aged 7 to 17 in selected Barclays branches. All they would need to bring is a laptop, and an adult. There Digital Eagles will guide your children as they take on fun challenges that introduce them to the basics of coding
“Its great that Barclays have introduced this into branches and as its now part of the national curriculum, it gives parents an understanding too, allowing them to support their children with their education” said Manager Gary Twist.
