I noted the comment on the state of the town centre in reply to my letter last week. I fail to see what the forthcoming demolition has to do with ensuring the centre is kept clean to a decent level and in good repair.
Even my 8 year old Granddaugther said it was in a mess and that’s coming from a child!
The townspeople need answers to the state of our town centre and something positive should be done to improve the situation on bird muck, bad paving etc.
I wonder if a member of the royal family was making a visit it would remain in that sorry state? I bet there would be a vast improvement then!
