Dear Sir,
As a resident of Aycliffe and an every day dog walker and gardener, when weather permits, I like to enjoy being outside the house.
Sadly the smells from the Emerald Biogas plant is making this more and more unpleasant.
On Sunday morning, at approximately 6.30am, taking the dog for a walk the stench was so overpowering I returned home after ten minutes.
My eyes watering, my throat sore and my nose burning, this sadly seems to be becoming a regular occurrance. The odour could be smelt on my clothing when I returned to the house.
Reading the Newton News, I see this stench can be experienced across the whole of the Aycliffe area.
Surely something is wrong?
