Newtonian Holly Sanderson aged 16, attended the Freestyle World Championships in Blackpool Winter Gardens to compete for the big title!  After weeks of hard work and dedication to her training at her dance school Stepping Out with Clare Walton in Newton Aycliffe, she danced against 50 competitors round after round qualifying to a five dancer final.  Holly was over the moon to make the final and delivered a first class Slow-dance spot which lead her to the World Championship Winning Title!  This is the second year running Holly has brought the title back to Newton Aycliffe and her family, teachers and peers are very proud!  How fabulous to have such talent in our town and a World Champion.
