Woodham Academy student Ryan Harris was the star man for the North East Under 13 Regional basketball team in their recent tournament at The Wildcats Arena, Nottingham.
Ryan is the most recent in a long line of students from Woodham to have represented the north east region at England trials.  Ryan has developed his skills under the expert tutelage of Woodham Assistant Headteacher and Durham Wildcats coach Danny Morgans. Ryan finished the tournament as top scorer for his team and he received special commendation from his coach as a result of his excellent performances.
Durham Wildcats have recently confirmed that Woodham will continue to be one of their junior satellite centres and the lead venue for all of their junior development and National League programme
