Newton Aycliffe Youth FC have always had a great working relationship with Newton Aycliffe Youth and Community Centre going back many years.
The meeting rooms they have available are used by the football club to carry out First aid , Child safeguarding and many other FA courses as well as our monthly management meetings. The excellent sports hall is used by our Little Eagles boys development section, for 4-6 yr olds, in a warm and safe environment.
Therefore at the final club meeting of last season, all the coaches and managers of our teams agreed that we would make a donation to the centre, to help them continue the great work they are doing.
Club secretary Berni Borsberry commented “We have always worked closely with the youth and community centre and the facilities they have are very important to our club. We hope this donation goes a little way to carrying on the great work they do for the people of Newton Aycliffe
A delighted Centre Manager Beki Metcalf stated “I am always touched by the continuing support we receive from our regular customers, without whom we couldn’t survive in this climate. I would like to say a big thank you to Newton Aycliffe Youth FC for the donation we have received, we do greatly appreciate it.”
