The weather was glorious and the school grounds at Aycliffe Village Primary School were packed with happy children and parents on the afternoon of Thursday 26 June when this year’s annual Summer Fair took place.
Tommy Bungle kicked the afternoon off when he had the children rolling with laughter from his tent on the school yard. We saw amazing performances from Woodham Academy Samba Band and the Xcel Church Choir while sampling home-made cakes and arts & crafts.
The whole place was buzzing with fun and laughter from start to finish and the P.T.A would like to thank all those that attended and helped raise an enormous sum of just over £1000 to help towards activities and projects that are not otherwise funded.
