BREAKFAST CLUB:
The next breakfast club is on Saturday, 13th October, at Aycliffe Village Hall from 9am-midday. Visitors can tuck into a bacon, egg or sausage buns, or just have a cup of tea or coffee. There will be activities for children and books on sale. All proceeds go to the village hall.
WI MEETING:
Aycliffe Village WI meets on Wednesday, 24th October, at Aycliffe Village Hall at 7.30pm when the group welcomes speaker Barbara Beveridge for a talk on Leazes Farm Preserves. The competition is for a Hallowe’en mask made from a paper plate. For details, call President Kathy Round on 01325 315732.
HALLOWE’EN DISCO:
It’s time to dress up as witches and ghouls for the Hallowe’en Disco at Aycliffe Village Hall, which takes place on Friday, 26th October, from 6.30pm to 8pm. The cost for this event is £1.50, and there is a prize for the best fancy dress.
