COMMITTEE MEETING: There is a committee meeting of Great Aycliffe Village Hall Association on Monday, February 9th, at the village hall at 8pm. Everyone is welcome.
BREAKFAST CLUB: The next breakfast club takes place on Saturday, February 14th, at Aycliffe Village Hall from 10am (please note new time). Thanks go to Joy Marie Hair Design for sponsoring the club this month. There will be bacon, egg or sausage buns on offer, as well as cups of tea or coffee. Plus, there will be activities for children and a book stall. All proceeds go to the village hall.
BABY SENSORY CLASSES: For parents and carers with babies up to 13 months, there is a sensory class at Aycliffe Village Hall on Tuesdays at 10am. For details, call Carly on 07881 922076.
NEEDLE AND THREAD: Anyone with a sewing project, such as patchwork, knitting, crochet or rag rugging, is welcome to go along to this friendly needle and thread group at Aycliffe Village Hall on Tuesday, February 17th, from 7-9pm. For more details, call Tricia Johnson on 01325 314735.
BINGO: It’s eyes down at a bingo session at Aycliffe Village Hall on Wednesday, February 18th, at 7.30pm; all are welcome.
JUNIOR DISCO: There is a junior disco on Friday, February 27th, at the village hall from 6.30pm to 8pm. There will be dancing, refreshments and glitter tattoos on offer. The cost is £1 and proceeds go to the village hall.
WI MEETING: The next meeting of Aycliffe Village WI is on Wednesday, February 25th, at the village hall when Sue Fox gives a talk on Inspiring Women For 100 Years, as this year is the centenary of the WI movement. PACT MEETING: The neighbourhood policing team will be at Aycliffe Village Hall on Saturday, February 28th, from 11am to noon, to answer any concerns from residents about local issues.
