SEDGEFIELD Racecourse has opened its Grotto early to offer families and adults the perfect opportunity to enjoy a day out whilst finding that unique Christmas gift for loved ones.
This fun packed day on Saturday 29th November, had hundreds of stalls selling different gifts, afternoon tea and a chance to visit Santa.
The lovely Alice Jordan (15) from Aycliffe sang Christmas carols throughout the day in the Collins Suite. She is pursuing a career as a singer songwriter, with the help of TheCreativeDreamWorks.
Alice has performed this year to audiences of 650 people and celebrities at London’s Mermaid Theatre, 500 at Manchester Trafford Centre, a festival in Leicestershire and lots of local gigs in the North East. She will be performing at the Rotary annual Christmas Community Concert in the Leisure Centre on Tuesday 16th December which starts at 2pm with free admission.
