The Inner Wheel Club of Newton Aycliffe (part of the Rotary Club) thanks everyone who supported their recent Afternoon Tea & Fashion Show at School Aycliffe Community Centre.
The amount raised was £939 and added to this was £260 from a Cryptic TV Quiz Sheet at total of £1199 which is going to the MRI Scanners Appeal for Darlington and Bishop Auckland Hospitals. The quiz winner and second prize were won by Marion Dowson and Viv McKenna.
The cheque will be presented to Fund Leader Pat Chambers at he next Inner Wheel meeting in November.
The next money raising family fun even t is a “Chicken Race Night” at School Aycliffe Hall on Saturday 4th November at 7.30pm. This is hilarious and everyone is invited. Tickets are available for £6 each (including a Pie & Peas Supper) from Margaret Gent on 01325 317308.
